More Than Company-Reported Data
Orenda moves beyond company reported data to include conversations about a company that is linked to its ESG activities and outcomes. Using proprietary algorithms and a multi-labeled classification AI (Natural Language Understanding) model, Orenda identifies social media content that is linked to a company’s environmental, social and governance activities. This enables Orenda to source ESG content as soon as it is shared and to find patterns in a sea of data, breaking it down into meaningful datapoints that can be used alongside other traditional datasets. The ESG Performance Data universe covers large and mid-cap companies from the major indices in the United States, Canada and Europe, with Asia and the UK to be added soon in 2021.
